Shuford Elementary was transformed into a sea of pirates on Friday, September 19, as students and staff joined together to celebrate National Talk Like a Pirate Day! With eye patches, bandanas, and plenty of âArrrghs,â our hallways echoed with laughter and pirate cheer.
From classrooms filled with treasure maps and word challenges to teachers greeting students with hearty âAhoys,â the day brought learning and fun together in the most adventurous way. Students practiced their best pirate vocabulary, solved swashbuckling math problems, and even went on treasure hunts throughout the school.
Weâre proud of our crew for making the day so memorable and for proving once again that learning can be an adventure worth sailing for. Shiver me timbersâit was a day to remember!
