Shuford takes SECOND in the Region 7 Battle of the Books competition. đ„
The competition was held on April 27th at New Life Baptist Church in Lenoir.
To prepare for this competition, students on the Battle of the Books team read a total of 15 books from a variety of genres before facing off against other schools within our district, where they took đ„FIRST on March 24th. The team proceeded to the regional competition, where they competed against the winning teams from 6 other districts in our region.
