Shuford takes SECOND in the Region 7 Battle of the Books competition. 🥈
The competition was held on April 27th at New Life Baptist Church in Lenoir.
To prepare for this competition, students on the Battle of the Books team read a total of 15 books from a variety of genres before facing off against other schools within our district, where they took 🥇FIRST on March 24th. The team proceeded to the regional competition, where they competed against the winning teams from 6 other districts in our region.
